Change Your WebSTAR Security Question
Our new self-service password management system provides a single password to access all NSU online services. It also has the ability to reset your NSU password (even if you forget it) without the aid of the Help Desk.
If you ever need to use it, you will need to enter it exactly as you did when you set it up.
- Choose answers that only you know the answers to.
- Answers are case sensitive
- The answer to your question should be one word
Step 1: Register for SharkPass
Login with your SharkLink email address (e.g. jsmith1@nova.edu) and initial SharkPass password. You will be required to answer at least four (4) security questions and provide your secret answers to complete the registration process. (Remember to keep your answers you will need them to complete the last step.)
Step 2: Reset Password
To complete the process and activate your SharkPass you will have to reset your password. Then login with your SharkLink email address (e.g. jsmith1@nova.edu) and SharkPass password. You will be required to answer your four (4) security questions you previously answered.
